Thy Art Is Murder were announced as one of the bands to perform on Parkway Drive’s “Ire” tour after Suicide Silence pulled out – much to the delight of a lot of people. I was excited to catch them live after thoroughly loving their latest album ‘Holy War’, and I’m stoked to say I certainly wasn’t disappointed in their performance! I have shot many metal and hardcore gigs in the Logan Campbell Centre over the years, and I can quite easily say that Thy Art Is Murder’s pit was one of the most intense I’ve ever seen in that venue. If you get the chance to see them (they have just been announced as one of the acts to perform at the absolutely mad ‘Hellfest’ next year amongst such acts as Black Sabbath, Ghost, Slayer and King Diamond) then do it without hesitation – these guys are going nowhere but up.
