The complete guide to Laneway NZ 2024

Laneway 2024

Laneway Festival will make its long-awaited return to Aotearoa in 2024, with the festival announcing it will move to Waitangi Day (Tuesday 6th February 2024), opening the festival up to attendees from right across Aotearoa!

Where will it be held?

The 2024 Laneway Festival will be held at Western Springs in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. The Laneway Festival team are working closely with venue partners Auckland Stadiums (a division of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited), and are excited for the triumphant return to the new and improved site.

Auckland Stadiums Director James Parkinson says: “It will be superb to welcome Laneway fans to the venue. Work is well underway to ensure Western Springs – which is one of Auckland’s legendary concert venues – will be ready to host a great festival this summer.

“We have had to wait a long time to bring Laneway Festival back to Aotearoa,”Says Laneway Festival co-founder Danny Rogers. “We were humbled by the outpouring of support shown to us earlier this year, and can’t wait to return, bringing an epic lineup of some of the world’s most exciting performers to this incredible venue in 2024.”

So who is performing?

The festival will be dripping with some of the most exciting artists from around the world and from home; including a blockbuster list of international headliners at the top of their game and ground-breaking talent who are fast becoming signifiers of the best new music from around the world.

This epic lineup will see headliners Stormzy, Steve Lacy, and Dominic Fike, alongside a bevvy of some of the world’s most exciting talents performing in Aotearoa – New Zealand for the very first time.

Alongside heavy hitters from across the globe including Unknown Mortal Orchestra, d4vd, Raye, AJ Tracey, Dope Lemon, Cordae, Eyedress, Faye Webster, Horsegiirl, Hemlocke Springs, Pretty Girl, Blondshell, DOMi & JD Beck, Nia Archives, and Skin on Skin – Laneway Festival will also welcome a huge lineup of local talent including Home Brew, Atarangi, Church (debuting his new solo show), Daily J, Erny Belle, hanbee, Andyheartthrob, and Molly Payton.

Laneway Festival will be the ONLY place to see these incredible international headline artists in Aotearoa this summer (that’s right, there will be NO sideshows this year) so ensure you get your crew together and grab your tickets quick! And speaking of tickets…
