Lara Marie is a young, up and coming event photographer and reviewer who started her work in the industry early last year, and is the newest member of the team at Ambient Light.
Originating from Auckland, Lara’s passion has always been for music, more specifically live music and supporting her local scene. This passion has fuelled her determination to get out there and attempt to capture the essence of live music, with the hopes of securing a future in the music industry.
Lara is currently in year 11 at school and therefore currently undertaking her first year of NCEA. Although she has a huge love for music, she cannot play any instruments – which she blames on her lack of coordination (but adds that it’s probably just down to her impatience more than anything else). Her main career goal is to enter the event, touring and artist management side of the industry once she has finished school.
