NZMM Daily Playlist Challenge: 05/05/18 – Bulletbelt

NZ Music Month Playlist Challenge

The NZ Music Month Daily Playlist Challenge
5th May, 2018

Compiled by Steve Francis / Bulletbelt.

Steve Francis is the drummer from the New Zealand thrash black metal band Bulletbelt.

There are two types of metal bands in the world today: those who innovate and those who are content to merely imitate. Bulletbelt have risen above the hordes of imitators to firmly establish themselves as innovators, successfully straddling the divide between thrash and black metal.

This five-piece from Wellington, New Zealand, have proven themselves time and again amongst their peers. Since forming in 2009, nationwide tours including alongside Goatwhore (US) and Impiety (Singapore) on the Underground Legions tour of New Zealand, and supporting The Black Dahlia Murder (US), Bolzer (Switzerland), Sepultura (Brazil) and Venom Inc. (England) have shown that they can rival any international metal band with their intense and energetic live performances. All the while, Bulletbelt continues to hone their craft and challenge their collective musical boundaries.

It is that commitment they bring to every aspect of their music, live or recorded, that has spurred their rise and seen them decimating crowds around the country, including at the annual Capital Punishment and Beyond the Black festivals in Wellington.

With their dedication to metal driving them ever onwards Bulletbelt are set to conquer the metal realms, leaving you with two choices: succumb to their sound or be destroyed by it.

For more info on Bulletbelt you can buy their music and merch from their Bandcamp, or follow them on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.
