Lydia Lunch Retrovirus

Ever since I was given a copy of the compilation album ‘Hysterie’ by Lydia Lunch sometime in the mid 90’s I have been a firm Lydia Lunch fan. Due to Lydia moving to Spain and becoming a self empowerment speaker in the early 2000’s I never thought I would get the chance to see her perform live, let alone be able to photograph the show! So you can imagine my excitement when I learned that Lydia Lunch was not only going to be playing a show in New Zealand, but she was bringing along Retrovirus, a band of amazing people from other acts such as Sonic Youth and Child Abuse! Needless to say Lydia Lunch Retrovirus were amazing, and I really hope that one day they will return so I can witness such a spectacular act one more time in my life!
