Ladyhawke.

This was a shoot that very nearly didn’t happen. Ladyhawke was a relatively unknown artist, having been in small Australian and New Zealand bands before moving to London and going solo. She had been given the honor of closing one of the minor stages at Rhythm & Vines, and was scheduled to start ten minutes after Public Enemy started (While Flavour Flav was at the peak of his popularity due to that awful reality show he had on MTv at the time). Long story short Public Enemy were 20 minutes late to hit the stage, so by the time I got to Ladyhawke I was well past the first three songs. Security were great guys and after hearing my story about Public Enemy they let me into the photo pit for one song and the rest is history!
