Crankworx, Rotorua NZ, 2015

Crankworx
25th – 29th March 2015
Skyline Mountain Bike Park, Rotorua, New Zealand

Crankworx is the main event on New Zealand’s mountain biking calendar – a chance for regular riders to ride and compete against some of the world’s best, as well as the chance to witness the top riders throw down in the most spectacular fashion. I was there to cover it for my other blog Traction Bike Blog on behalf of Fujifilm NZ, and was lucky to be able to use the latest and greatest Fujifilm equipment for the week. While I’m normally a Canon guy, I was hugely impressed with how sharp and fast the Fujinon lenses were – if only I could use them on my Canon bodies! Overall I had a spectacular week in Rotorua, and was pretty gutted when the week was over. Thank goodness it’s coming up again next March, I’ll be there again for sure!

Equipment: Fujifilm X-T1; Fujinon XF 10-24mm f4, Fujinon XF 16-35mm f2.8, Fujinon XF 50-140mm f2.8, Fujinon XF 56mm f1.2APD
