It was my first Raggamuffin Festival, the weather was scorchingly hot and the festival lineup was even hotter. Amongst all the big names there was an act I didn’t know much about – but there was a gap in my schedule so I decided to check them out and perhaps take a few images. That act was Arrested Development, and to my delight they turned out to be one of the most fun acts I’ve ever had the opportunity to shoot. The atmosphere was so uplifting, the musicians interacting with both the crowd and photographers every chance they had – just the perfect summertime band. It was certainly a shock for this self confessed metalhead used to shooting loud bands in small clubs with minimal light and angry crowds! If you ever get the chance to see Arrested Development, don’t hesitate. They really are that amazing!
